Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring with me?

You should bring with you a camera and a big smile. Lisbon has a nice weather all year long and during the summer it is recommended that you always carry a bottle of water and sunscreen. And if it looks like it might rain, we recommend you bring an umbrella.

Are children allowed?

Children of all ages, whether walking or in a stroller, are welcome to join.

Do I need to book in advance?

To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Bookings can be made from our website or by calling us.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you book a food tour. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.

Are bathrooms available during the tour?

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour and at selected food-tasting locations.

What do we do in case of bad weather?

The tours are held rain or shine. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for the date of your booking and dress appropriately.

Does the tour conclude at the same place it began?

No, our tours do not finish at the same location as the meeting point. However, detailed instructions on the meeting and finishing points are provided after booking.

Does the tour guide accept gratuities?

Gratuities or tips are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory.

What is your late policy?

Our tours begin promptly at the scheduled starting time. The first portion of our tour is a meet and greet introduction for about 10 minutes or so, this allows for any late comers.

If you are scheduled for tour and know you are running behind schedule, please call us at +351 910 874 714 to let us know before the tour begins so that we can give you directions on where to meet us en route.

*Please note that refunds are not given for latecomers!

Can the tours be carried out in other languages?

At this time we offer tours in English and Portuguese.

Do you support corporate or private events?

Yes we do! We are able to accommodate a variety of special request (family reunions, birthday parties, out of town guests, conventions and much more).
